Explicit Adult Content! The intricate tapestry of lies Hadyn has woven to save Felix may just unravel. He could lose not just his home, but his beloved warlock as well. Felix’s suspicions about Hadyn come to a head, and he realizes his very existence is on the line. When an angel gets involved will she be their heroine, or will she put an end to Fantastica once and for all?

Pioche struggles with his own turmoil as the demoness he loves is devoted to the demon he loathes. Ayjah makes it clear that she will never betray Darius. Will Pioche have to betray Hadyn instead?

The extra-long ending will set off a diabolical Rube Goldberg machine that irrevocably changes, or ends, the life of every character. This is the part that will establish Fantastica as the pinnacle of author Yamila Abraham’s writing career.

Fantastica 6 The Conclusion! eBook Yamila Abraham Michelle Henson

Not since Incubus Master have I felt as sorry for the lead characters in a story.

In Ms. Yamila's most recent serial, Felix Humbolt and the beautiful displaced demon, Hadyn, are the shattered lovers separated by opposing desires - Felix wanting to become a powerful immortal warlock and Hadyn wanting a place to call home after him and his subordinates are cast down from heaven for remaining neutral in the war between heaven and hell.

Here enters the limbo world of Fantastica, where it is ruled by a cruel and seductive demon tyrant by the name of Darius, who was given this land to rule so he would not compete with the dragon (who, for all pretenses, is probably The Devil) who rules over Hell. Felix had the choice to serve either his beloved, Hadyn, who promises him immortality if he agrees to give him his soul, or Darius, who tells him he can keep his soul if he agrees to be his servant and enforcer of contracts guaranteeing him the life-force of greedy mortals seeking power and wealth.

Although at odds with the choice, Felix finds himself serving Darius for the next 200 or so years acting as enforcer and the Rockwell clan's beautiful assassin in a curse where the eldest son of each generation dies earlier than the last until eventually the Rockwell bloodline is no more (however, I found this to be a bit inconsistent because even if it does all come down to Levi, his little brother Dixon supposedly was immune to the curse; if he had a family, were we to assume his sons would be free?) But it all comes to a standoff when the wily and rebellious Levi Rockwell decides he's not going to die like his father and grandfathers before him and concocts a scheme to get out of it by summoning none other than Felix's lost love, Hadyn.

I say it all of the time, but I'm going to say it again - I think Ms. Yamila does her best work in her serials. Her stories are always rife with beautifully seductive characters that are at the same time dark and macabre with rich devilish personas you can't help but fawn over. And the storylines...this one is absolutely no exception - it was deep and emotional. You actually give a damn about what happens to the characters. And that's not something I can always say about characters in this genre.

Seriously, no disrespect to the Japanese BL genre - without them, I would have never given Ms. Yamila the time of day; this genre is their baby and I have to give credit where credit is due - but there is something about Ms. Yamila's yaoi that satisfies me in a way that the Japanese novels I read just don't. Maybe it's because a lot of this author's work deal in fantasy and I love erotic fantasy dealing with demons.

And in this one there's actually a heterosexual scene, which confirms my belief that Ms. Yamila would write good "straight" erotica just as much as her delicious yaoi erotica, so that was a real treat for me.

Lastly, this was just one of her best in my opinion - maybe third to Incubus Master and second to Maelstrom, those two series were simply the best! I deliberately reread this just so I could review this. I actually read the first 4 parts in the series a lot sooner, but when the last two parts had come out I knew I had to go back and reread all of them. The ups and downs in this one really had me wondering how the hell Hadyn was going to make good on his word to help Levi end his family's curse while at the same time freeing Felix from his damning contract with Darius. This story was grim, but it flourished beautifully in the finale. I was really sad to see it end.

Good work, Yamila!

Fantastica 6 The Conclusion! eBook Yamila Abraham Michelle Henson Reviews

So very happy to see the conclusion. I own all the parts. Would have preferred one long book to six short ones but I loved the story either way.
I love to read saga's! Couldn't put it down! Waiting for more from this author!!!!!!
Entertaining, but not the caliber of Yamila Abraham's manga like Winter Demon (my favorite) or Dark Prince. Granted this is a regular rather than a graphic novel so it moves more slowly but I felt in some places it seemed to drag along.
